Good day everyone!

 

The ESSPA Wednesday Day League is Back! Commencing Wednesday, May 9th, and all Wednesdays after until the permafrost rises, we will have drop-in play, starting at 11:00 AM (come @10:30 to get set up). Some of you have registered and paid a flat fee which is still available. $50 per season gets you as many games as you want to pay with-out the bother of paying weekly.  For those who have not, the fee is still $5.00 a visit.

 

To those unfamiliar with what this entails, the Day League has evolved thus: if there are sufficient players to form 2 teams (18-25 bodies), 2 pitchers are elected, gloves are thrown in, and teams are formed. Some minor tweaking is normal. We try for 9 innings, commencing 11:00. That’s a pretty good workout... but that’s the idea! We can decide to keep score, or not, everyone hits, everyone plays. No prizes, just play ball.
