Drafted Division 1 ( former Hansen) Coordinator

This position is voted in even years and will be up at the next AGM in March.  The present Division Coordinator will not be running.  If you are interested in this position or need more information, please email info.esspa.ca.  The duties of the position are as follows:

• Co-ordinator must have good people skills as they are a liaison between the division and the board.
• Oversee the assigned division when your name is brought forward by the Division 1 team leaders and voted in at the AGM;
• Work with team leaders to choose balanced teams in the division when teams are drafted and ensure the team leaders have the necessary information to complete the draft.
• Work with the Registrar to ensure team leaders have all the new player information when attending assessment of these players.
• Attend monthly Board meetings and provide reporting as required.
• Set up division meetings quarterly or as required and prepare agendas, and minutes of the meetings. Submit all division meeting minutes for posting on the website.
• Work with the Registrar to register teams and players in RAMP, and Slo-pitch governing body (SPN/NSA) answer questions and emails as required.
• Create schedules for the regular season and playoffs.
• Ensure team leaders have the necessary equipment, etc. needed and that they are aware of the rules, expectations and procedures of the league.
• Work with the Rules Committee to ensure policies and rules for ESSPA are consistent as much as possible but reflect the needs of their particular division.
• Serve on the Conflict Resolution Committee.
• Have voting rights on the Board.
