Divisions Descriptions


Cuthbertson Division is for players 45+ who want to play the highest caliber of play and is for pre-determined teams which are recruited (prior to subsequent division setup) by team managers. These are mostly organized "Tournament" teams that enter Provincial and National events, playing multiple weekends over the summer. Teams play at least two (2) games per week and may have double headers.


Hirsch Division is for players 50+ who have the desire and ability to play a more demanding level of ball. Players are chosen by way of a draft of all persons who qualify. There are a maximum of 10 fielders. These players may have the ability to play at the highest level but not the commitment to play on the organized "Tournament" teams.


Hansen Division is for players 50+ who have the desire and ability to play a more demanding level of ball but may not qualify for Cuthbertson or Hirsch. Couples may be allowed to play on the same team. This division requires runners to run to first after which a runner may be substituted under certain rules.    There are a maximum of 10 fielders.


Brawner Division is for those players 50+ of any skill level who wish to play a more recreational/relaxed level of ball. Couples are allowed to play on the same team. Teams drawn up by a committee (of Brawner  division managers) from players not drafted for the higher divisions and registrants requesting this division. This division allows runners from home and allows a maximum of 11 fielders.

 

Day League  is for those players 50+ of any skill level who are able to play during the day. Games are at 11:00 AM one day  week starting early in May and ending September.

Fees have to be set but should be about $50.00 for the season or a drop-in fee of $5.00
